The previous post shows one masterpiece of Japanese Anime: Hadashi No Gen (Barefoot Gen) which is a manga (Japanese comic book) that describes the real life recollections of the author about the day of the bomb. There are three books containing the whole story and a movie. This is a seminal work for world comics and anime in general. Definitely a must read.
